In this week, my teaching journey, I think it’s improving based on activities in my lesson most of them have a high score and I think that my teaching strategies are working. My first strategy is to know all of them, what they want, what they are capable of doing what makes them to listen and learn. For the past few months in my first FS1 and FS2, I had time to know them. That’s why when I teach, they really understand the lesson. Sometimes when they are joking, I also joke with them and in this situation, it makes your student get your attention and makes them listen. I’m not gonna lie it’s really hard to make them listen when the lessons are boring so I did some activities that are interesting sometimes when I use an example I use the students because in this situation makes the student focus their attention to you and when they are focus it will build a relationship to them by listening and learning. As we all know most of the students are active in play so I use some activities that involve play and also giving them dancing exercise because in this, it will help their body to energize, and they will have an open mind. Overall, I think that my teaching is successful.
